What is OmniRoute?
OmniRoute is an open-source AI gateway for developers using multiple model providers. It provides one compatible endpoint so applications and coding assistants can share a routing layer. Configure provider connections and routing combinations, inspect usage in the dashboard, and use fallback when an eligible route is unavailable. The project documents integrations with coding clients and local deployment options. Optional compression features need evaluation against your own workload. To get started, install the gateway, connect a provider account you are entitled to use, then point your client at the gateway endpoint. Provider limits, account requirements, and terms still apply.
