Editorial Methodology

What we cover

StartupWorker covers tools, AI skills, agents, courses, and Playbooks that can help people perform modern startup work. Inclusion is an editorial judgment, not a certification or endorsement. We prioritize resources with a clear job to do, a credible primary source, enough information to evaluate fit, and relevance to the work areas we serve.

How a resource is reviewed

1. We identify the official product or author source and confirm the resource exists.
2. We assess its stated purpose, audience, capabilities, constraints, and where it fits in a workflow.
3. We write or edit catalog copy for clarity and distinguish our summary from provider claims.
4. We record a source and review date so readers can judge freshness.
5. We publish, hold as a draft, merge with an existing listing, decline, or archive it.

Featuring and ranking

Featuring is based on editorial usefulness, coverage balance, freshness, and relevance—not merely save counts or popularity. Search and filters may consider text relevance, type, work area, task, and other catalog structure. If paid placement, affiliate economics, or another commercial factor ever affects visibility, it will be labeled where it appears and explained in our Commercial Disclosures.

Community contributions

Members can suggest new resources and corrections. A submission is a lead for editorial review, not an automatic publication. We may edit copy, verify links, merge duplicates, add contributor attribution, or decline a suggestion under our Moderation Policy.

Corrections and archived listings

We prefer correcting a material error transparently and updating the review date. We may archive a resource when it is unavailable, materially changed, unsafe to direct users to, or no longer useful for the catalog. Archived or removed content may remain in internal moderation records for operational and security purposes.
