Understand Anything analyzes a codebase with a multi-agent pipeline and builds an interactive graph of files, functions, classes, and dependencies. Its dashboard adds plain-language summaries, architectural layers, semantic search, guided tours, business-domain views, change-impact analysis, and incremental updates. The project supports Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot, Gemini CLI, and other coding agents.
Best for
Engineers and technical product teams onboarding to a large repository or tracing architecture, dependencies, business flows, and change impact.
Not for
Small repositories where direct reading is faster, or environments that cannot support the initial whole-codebase analysis and its token cost.
