What is Founder Skill?
Founder Skill is Jake Schincariol’s open-source collection of eleven Claude skills for planning a business before launch. It brings together idea review, competitor research, buyer simulation, pricing, offer design, financial modeling, marketing, branding, operations, launch planning, and a compiled business plan. The skills share files in a founder/ project folder, so research and assumptions carry through the workflow. You can also run an individual skill. Claude Code supports the plugin and subagent workflow; pasting a skill into a chat gives a reduced mode. Included calculation tools require Python 3.8 or newer and use its standard library. The consumer panel generates simulated buyer personas and responses. Use those responses to surface questions and objections, then test important assumptions with real customers. They are neither testimonials nor evidence of market demand. Financial outputs depend on supplied costs and sales assumptions; replace estimates with supplier quotes and observed results.
