This week, the catalog gained new ways to hand work to AI and a grounded place to learn the basics. We picked a coding agent, a platform for business workflows, and a beginner course—each with a clear use case and a limit to keep in mind.

Our take. Codex is worth evaluating on a bounded repository task: let it investigate, change code, and run checks, then judge the diff against your normal review standard. Its local, editor, and cloud surfaces give software teams several ways to fit that work into an existing workflow.
Watch for. A finished agent run still needs a human code review, controlled credentials, and tests that cover the real risk of the change.

Watch for. The setup is the hard part: define permissions, approvals, escalation, and an accountable owner before agents take external actions.

Watch for. It is introductory by design; developers looking for API implementation or production evaluation will need a deeper course.
